SentiAcu has entered a strategic collaboration with India’s Sagar Defence Engineering (SDE) — a pioneer in indigenous tactical UAV systems — to integrate our SPL8 LiDAR as a tri-functional core component for Sagar Defence’s flagship SPECTRE M/P UAV platform.
Tailored for frontline and maritime tactical missions, the SPL8 delivers robust performance across three critical operational needs: First, as a GNSS-Denied Sensor, it provides high-precision terrain matching and autonomous navigation data when satellite signals are jammed or unavailable, ensuring stable flight in complex coastal, desert or urban combat environments. Second, for the UAV’s ordnance payloads, it serves as a proximity fuze support component, delivering real-time target distance measurements to enable precise detonation at optimal range, balancing strike effectiveness and collateral damage control. Third, it enables reliable **assisted landing** on unimproved or maritime-adjacent terrains (e.g., remote coastal strips, rough frontline fields), leveraging high-precision ground sensing to ensure safe recovery without dedicated runways.
